“The jackals in the fake news media keep asking me if I have ‘asked’ for a full pardon from the President. The answer is no, I am praying for one,” Stone posted on the social media service Parler.
Stone, 68, made the post on Parler shortly after the White House announced that Mr. Trump has issued pardons or commutations to a total of 20 individuals, including two with close ties to Stone’s case.
Among the people Mr. Trump pardoned Tuesday are George Papadopoulos, a former aide for his 2016 campaign, and Alex Van der Zwaan, a Dutch lawyer, who both were charged as part of the same probe as Stone.
Mr. Biden made headlines on Tuesday by saying “the Defense Department won’t even brief us” on key issues, including a massive hack of the federal government that most security and defense officials have attributed to Russia.
The president-elect said his team isn’t getting cooperation from the Defense Department and is in the dark on the extent of damage caused by the hack, largely because of President Trump’s downplaying of the incident.
“Even if he doesn’t take it seriously, I will,” Mr. Biden said.
In claiming the Defense Department will not brief his team, Mr. Biden seemed to reference meetings between Pentagon and transition officials that were scheduled for last Friday but ultimately got postponed.

Shortly after the November election, the Trump campaign circulated on its Facebook and Twitter accounts, as well as its website, the names of seven dead Americans in the battleground states of Georgia and Pennsylvania. The dead people were used to cast votes in last month’s election, the campaign claimed, pointing to the incidents as evidence of widespread voter fraud that enabled President-elect Joseph R. Biden Jr.’s victory.
Local officials have debunked several of the dead-voter claims, and there remains no evidence of widespread voter fraud. But now, Pennsylvania officials say one of the names held up by the Trump campaign was used to cast a vote in the election.

The incoming Biden administration will inherit Twitter accounts used by the current White House but not the followers they gained during this presidency and the last, the social media company said Tuesday.
A spokesperson for Twitter reiterated the company will facilitate the transfer of several institutional White House accounts, including @POTUS and @VP, to the Biden administration on Inauguration Day.
“The accounts will not automatically retain their existing followers,” the Twitter spokesperson added. “Instead, Twitter will notify followers of these accounts to provide context that the content will be archived and allow them the choice to follow the Biden administration’s new accounts.”
Mr. Trump, who has filed an election appeal with the Supreme Court and is plotting with House Republicans to object to certification of Mr. Biden’s electoral college votes next month, said his allegations of election fraud must be fully investigated in various battleground states, including Pennsylvania.
“If this egregious fraud is not fully investigated and addressed, the 2020 election will forever be regarded as illegitimate and the most corrupt election in the history of our country,” the president said in the video, which was recorded at the White House. “Americans must be able to have complete faith and confidence in our elections. The fate of our democracy depends upon it.”
