The Pennsylvania State Capitol was closed to the public Thursday, with an exclamation point.

Trump raiding the U.S. Capitol in an attempt to stop Congress from its final certification of the electoral college vote in favor of President-elect Joseph R. Biden, leaders at the state Capitol ordered workers there to work from home Thursday, primarily as a precaution.
The exclamation point in Harrisburg was the closure of the massive metal doors that hang on the exterior of the main public entrance off Third Street, a barrier that is rarely closed, but that did create an extra later of security should any would-be intruders find themselves in a glass-shattering mood.

Twitch Disables Donald Trump s Account Following Attack on Capitol
This marks the second time Twitch has suspended the President s account.
Following Wednesday’s attack on the US Capitol by pro-Trump insurrectionists, Twitch has disabled the account of President Donald Trump.
In a statement to Polygon, a Twitch spokesperson said “In light of yesterday’s shocking attack on the Capitol, we have disabled President Trump’s Twitch channel. Given the current extraordinary circumstances and the President’s incendiary rhetoric, we believe this is a necessary step to protect our community and prevent Twitch from being used to incite further violence.”
Yesterday’s siege was the result of dangerous language espoused by the President. Prior to a mob of pro-Trump extremists storming into the Capitol building and occupying the halls of both the Senate and Congress, Trump told his followers to march to the Capitol and make their voices heard.
