John W. Warner, a Republican U.S. senator for 30 years who led Virginiaâs congressional delegation and whose marriage to actress Elizabeth Taylor brought a dash of glamour to Virginia politics, has died. He was 94.
Mr. Warner died of heart failure Tuesday night at home in Alexandria with family at his side.
