Americans Approve of Mediaâs COVID Coverage

Americans remain generally positive about the mediaâs handling of the coronavirus pandemic and donât think the risks of the disease have been overhyped.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 50% of American Adults rate the media coverage of the ongoing coronavirus crisis as good or excellent. Just 29% say the media is doing a poor job. This compares to 53% and 24% respectively in mid-April. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

Voters Fear Domestic Terrorists More Than Foreign Ones

In the wake of an explosion that rocked Nashville last week, Americans are more concerned about domestic terrorism than foreign threats, and many believe the danger has increased during President Trump’s term in office.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 63% of Likely U.S. Voters say domestic terrorism is the greater threat to the United States, compared to 24% who say foreign terrorism is the greater threat. 46% Say America Pays Too Much of UN Budget

Americans still generally have a favorable view of the United Nations, but many remain concerned that the United States is paying more than its fair share of the international organization s budget.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 67% of Likely Voters say the United States should continue to participate in the United Nations, down slightly from a high of 72% three years ago. Americans Wary That Stock Market Bubble Will Burst

The stock market has recently hit record highs, but Americans are increasingly worried that the boom won’t last much longer.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 61% of American Adults are at least somewhat concerned that the stock market bubble will burst and push the economy back into recession with 23% who are Very Concerned. Twenty-five percent (25%) don t share that fear, but that includes only seven percent (7%) who are Not at All Concerned. (To see survey question wording, click here).
