Bridge to Literacy, a student-led international nonprofit organization, will be hosting an electronics drive at Staten Island Technical High School on Saturday, May 15 from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM. Through Best Buy’s trade-in program, the organization will trade in donated mobile electronic devices in exchange for money to purchase new tablets for elementary and middle school students in Kenya and Ukraine.

MATTITUCK, NY The Mattituck-Cutchogue Union Free School District has announced the names of the valedictorian and salutatorian for the Class of 2021. The Class of 2021 s valedictorian is Luke Altman, who has an unweighted grade point average of 97.76 percent, the district said. The student honored as salutatorian is Weronika Jachimowicz, with an unweighted GPA of 97.27 percent, the district said.
