Dec 20, Colombo: Former Director of the Terrorism Investigation Division (TID) of Police Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Nalaka de Silva told the Presidential Commission of Inquiry into the Easter Sunday attack that a political conspiracy had been hatched against him. Testifying before the Commission for the last time on Friday, the suspended officer revealed this when Attorney-at-Law Madhu Jayatilleke, who appeared for DIG Nilantha Jayawardena, the former Director of the State Intelligence Service, cross-examined him.
