Zambia : President Lungu leaves for DRC

President Edgar Lungu has arrived in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) for a one day working visit. President Lungu’s aircraft touched down at Nd’jili International Airport in Kinshasa at 10:30 hours local time (11:30hrs Zambian). He was welcomed at the airport by Kinshasa Mayor Jeantinie Ngobila Mbaka. President Lungu is accompanied to DRC by Minister of Foreign Affairs Joe Malanji, Presidential Affairs Minister Freedom Sikazwe and on hand to welcome him were Minister of Infrastructure Vincent Mwale, Zambia’s Ambassador to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) Friday Nyambe and that country’s Ambassador to Zambia Chantal Maloba.

Times Higher Education Impact rankings 2021: Manchester University first for sustainability as Middle East fares well

A British university was named the world s most committed to sustainability, according to a global ranking of higher education institutions. The University of Manchester was deemed overall winner in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings for 2021, scoring highly in areas of urban sustainability, responsible consumption and ocean conservation. The report ranked 1,240 universities from 98 countries on their commitment to each of the UN s 17 Sustainable Development Goals, in addition to an overall table. Western countries dominated the top 10, with 24 countries and regions from six continents appearing in the overall top 100. Institutions in the Middle East performed well, with 31 universities from 11 Arab League territories in the top 100 positions, demonstrating the high level of commitment to achieving the sustainability goals.

UAE To Deploy Blockchain For Notary And Authentication Services

This move is said to be part of the government’s efforts in providing advanced digital services to residents. UAE’s Digitally Transforming Government Services According to the Emirates News Agency, the use of blockchain tech will cut down on the time, effort, and expenditure spent by the UAE’s Ministry of Justice in authenticating and verifying contracts and documentation. The acting under-secretary of the Ministry of Justice, Chancellor Dr. Saeed Ali Bahbouh Al Naqbi, said the government is focused on achieving full digital transformation in notary services to make UAE the best country in the world in terms of administrative services.
