WAM His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, has held the first meeting of the UAE s National Media Team.
During the session, Sheikh Mansour highlighted the growing global media spotlight on the UAE, especially in 2020, as a result of the strategic projects launched by the country.
He also expressed confidence in the local media s ability to keep pace with future developments.
The National Media Team, which includes the heads of prominent media outlets in the UAE, was formed in November.
It has been established with the aim of developing a renewed strategic vision for the Emirati media, and operates under the UAE Government Media Office.

Capitol Hill, Monrovia – River Gee County Electoral District Three Representative, Francis Saidy Dopoh is craving the indulgence of plenary to invite President Weah’s top cabinet members to testify whether the Government actually supplied schools across the country with chairs as announced by the President.
The officials include the Minister of State for Presidential Affairs, Nathaniel McGill, Finance and Development Planning Minister, Samuel Tweah and Education Minister, Prof. Ansu D. Sonii, Sr.

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, reaffirmed the UAE s support for Iraq in a call with the country s president.
Sheikh Mohamed reviewed efforts to bolster ties with Barham Salih.
The veteran politician was elected as President of Iraq in October, 2018.
Mr Salih, like leaders around the globe, has had to deal with the wide-ranging effects of the Covid-19 pandemic in the past year.

The form and manner in which Minister of State for Presidential Affairs, Nathaniel McGill conducted himself over his handling of the alleged disappearance of over US$40,000 out of his account at the Guaranty Trust Bank (GTbank) at the Monrovia City Court has raised serious concern about how the Minister exercises authority as a key figure to the presidency.
This stems from Minister McGill’s decision not to file an official complaint before the Liberia National Police (LNP) to investigate the accusation that the bank’s management was behind the illegal withdrawal through his ATM card, which investigation would have found the basis for the court’s arrest order against some senior managers.
