Students and staff in schools across County Wexford are buzzing with excitement this week ahead of the national Junk Kouture finals which will take place on Thursday, February 4.
Anticipation is particularly high in Coláíste Bríde in Enniscorthy as the school has six entries in the finals.
The other entries from schools around the county that will also feature in the final include: St Mary s CBS, Enniscorthy - Fury Runway, created by Alan White, Michael Bodnaruk, and Nicholas Howe; St Peter s College, Wexford - Cognitive Conflict, created by Cade Gardener, Daniel Brennan, and Abban Moran; Presentation Secondary School, Wexford - I Can Do It, created by Molly Calder, Lily Stoutt, and Lucy Walsh; Gorey Community School - Kabloom, created by Holly Meehan, Siofra Byrne, and Melissa Popovici; Coláiste An Átha, Kilmuckrodge - Spin Me Right Round, created by Maria Whelan, Sophie Whelan and Kerry-Ann Murphy; FCJ Bunclody - , created by Michelle Kearns, Leah Kidd, Orlagh Kehoe.

An exhibition featuring photographs, art and memorabilia depicting the history, life and times of the community of Threecastles opened to the public this month.
Threecastles Hall Committee held the exhibition, entitled ‘Reconnecting with the past Building a legacy for the Future’, in conjunction with National Heritage Week. Minister of State with responsibility for Heritage Malcolm Noonan was among those to visit.
