Prescott Valley Police Looking For A Loaded Gun Stolen From An Unlocked Vehicle
Prescott Valley Police are alerting residents to an instance where a gun was taken from one of two unlocked vehicles on Wednesday. Officers were called to the Quailwood Area of Prescott Valley on Tijuana Street in the early morning hours. Taken from one of the vehicles was a 9MM semi-automatic pistol and a loaded magazine. The gun has a black frame with a brown slide. Police are asking residents of the area to check their video surveillance equipment, if they have it, for the hours of midnight to 3 a.m. Wednesday. Arrest Made In Connection With The Shooting At A YCSO Deputies Home Last Week
A man has been arrested in connection with an incident where shots were fired into a law enforcement officer’s home in Prescott Valley last week. Deputies were called to the home in the 83-hundred block of East Loos Drive at 2:25 a.m. on December 3rd, after a person fired multiple rounds into the home, with one of the rounds passing right over the head of a sleeping four-year-old, nearly striking the child. The home belongs to a Yavapai County Sheriff’s Deputy and his family. Fortunately no one was injured. Prescott Valley Police arrested a male subject Tuesday. He has been charged with attempted second degree murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated assault upon a police officer and more charges connected with the case.
