HEARING: Preston Crown Court Aaron Webb, 24, had an interim hospital order extended at Preston Crown Court. The Barrow man was due to be sentenced over the offence, committed on July 1 last year. At a hearing on Friday Webb, of Middlefield, was due to be sentenced but that has been put back after a doctor said he needed more time to compile a report into the defendant’s mental health. In a letter referenced in court, Dr Matt Appleyard, of the Guild Lodge secure mental health facility in Preston, said he needed more to compile a report examining the link between Webb’s mental health and offending.
