Over the last two weeks, the 14 games in the DELO EHF Champions League play-offs delivered clear wins for the favourites but also nail-biting games, where the winners were only decided in the dying seconds of the second leg.
Ultimately, eight teams have progressed to the quarter-final, which will be played in the first two weeks of April, the last stop before the DELO EHF FINAL4 in Budapest on 29/30 May.

The focus of this weekend in the DELO EHF Champions league will be on the mouth-watering clash in Hungary, where Györi Audi ETO KC and CSKA will fight for the top position in group B on Saturday. Ahead of the exciting clash, both sides boast impressive records.
Elsewhere, Buducnost and HC Podravka Vegeta will play a Balkan derby in Podgorica, while SCM Ramnicu Valcea and BV Borussia 09 Dortmund, who have shown signs of improvement lately, will both try to snatch points at home against Brest Bretagne Handball and Odense Håndbold respectively.

Before the match in Moscow, Brest Bretagne Handball had hoped to extend their four-game winning run in the DELO EHF Champions League and take revenge on CSKA for what had been their only defeat in the current competition.
However, the Russian side had the upper hand in the nerve-wracking match and defeated their French rivals once again, 25:24, thanks to Polina Gorshkovaâs last-minute goal.

For just the second time in the club’s history, Nantes have reached the group phase of Europe’s second-tier club competition.
The last time they got this far, in 2017, they progressed to the quarter-finals, where they lost by a single goal to Metzingen, this season’s goal is to emulate that run.
“Playing the EHF European League is already a motivation in itself! As our group is quite homogeneous, it will make all the matches complicated and pressured. It is really motivating to play matches where we know that each victory or defeat will have an impact on the qualification and I think the quarter-finals are within our reach,” says captain Marion Maubon.
