WILLMAR The seventh annual Kandiyohi County CEO Trade Show will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, May 14, in the Life Science Auditorium on the MinnWest Campus in Willmar. New businesses created by high school students in the Kandiyohi Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities program will be on display. SPICER The Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center trails may be used during daylight hours at no cost. Fat-tire and mountain bike trails are closed. People who want to use the bikes and paddling equipment during the event are asked to register in advance by calling 320-354-5894.
Slots of 45-60 minutes can be reserved for the equipment, which Klebe said is being made available at no charge because of special funding by the Bernick Family Foundation.
Outdoor gear can be donated until the day of the sale with proceeds used for Prairie Woods programs.

Virtual scavenger hunt begins Monday
For those unable to attend the Earth Day event Saturday at Prairie Woods, a week-long virtual scavenger hunt will be available, with prizes going to winners.
