ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan Thursday telephoned Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and thanked him for getting all Senate candidates elected unopposed in the province.
The premier discussed the prevailing political situation in the country with the Punjab speaker along with getting vote of confidence on Saturday. He also inquired about Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain’s health.
Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi said PML-Q is the ally of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and will remain so in future as well. On the other hand, the premier has barred Members National Assembly (MNAs) of PTI from leaving Islamabad.
