PHILIPSBURG: - The Council of Ministers officially suspended the Managing Director of the Princess Juliana International Holding Company Dexter Doncher. Doncher was informed of the suspension by letter late Wednesday night after the Council of Ministers held an emergency meeting and voted. Dexter Doncher was given a warning letter two days prior to the three months suspension.
The Council of Ministers wanted to fire Doncher who followed the instructions of the government to officially dismiss the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Princess Juliana International Airport, Brian Mingo on April 7th. Mingo then filed an injunction against his termination and the judge ruled in favor of Mingo due to a technical error in the dismissal procedure.

PHILIPSBURG: - Independent Member of Parliament Christophe Emmanuel on Wednesday said the two things became very clear when State Secretary Raymond Knops once again blackmailed St. Maarten in return for liquidity: The Dutch government recognizes that they are dealing with a weak St. Maarten government and an even weaker Prime Minister and the professed integrity of the Dutch government is worthless.

PHILIPSBURG: -Information reaching SMN News states that the Prime Minister of St. Maarten Silveria Jacobs has threatened to suspend or either fire the managing director of Princess Juliana International Airport Holding Company Dexter Doncher. Allegations are that Doncher did not follow the Corporate Governance guidelines when appointing members of the Supervisory Board of Directors. SMN News learned that PJIAH had three persons screened to take up positions on the SBOD. Those persons are Alfred Harley, Ashton Richardson, and Joseph Oniel. However, the SBOD of PJIAE has also submitted the names of three persons that are supposedly their friends.
