Mashantucket The Mashantucket Pequot Tribe and Pequot Health Care, a Mashantucket-owned health care management company serving Native American tribes, announced it is recognizing Connecticut GI, a Rocky Hill-based gastroenterology practice, as a preferred partner.
Pequot Health Care will promote awareness of Connecticut GI’s services to its members and commercial self-funded plans.
“At Pequot Health Care, we believe that both the patients and the employers that provide self-funded health benefits deserve better value health where the quality, safety, and experience is higher, and the total cost of care is lower,” Dr. Setu Vora, the Mashantuckets’ chief medical officer, said in a statement.

Compulsory and post-compulsory schools in Switzerland should not be closed immediately because of Covid-19, according to the government’s scientific taskforce and the Conference of Cantonal Ministers of Education.

The conference’s conclusions, which were presented to the government on Wednesday, state that the cantons expect to keep schools open at both primary and secondary level. Closing schools would have a negative impact both on the mental health of children and young people and on their schooling, it said.
