The Steelers didn t have a pick in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft, after trading it to acquire Minkah Fitzpatrick. But they still found first-round talent in dynamic wide receiver Chase Claypool, the team s second round pick out of Notre Dame.
Claypool made a splash this season while being a major contributor to the offense. He was the recipient of the Joe Greene Great Performance Award, given to the team s Rookie of the Year by the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Pro Football Writers of America and was selected to the Pro Football Writers of America All-Rookie Team.
Claypool started off with a bang, even in training camp, earning praise early on from his teammates even before playing in a game.

The suspension was reduced to a fine after Suh contended during the appeal that he didn’t realize he had stepped on Rodgers because his feet were frozen. Then there was a 2011 game at Detroit when Suh drew a suspension for stomping on then-Packers center Evan Dietrich-Smith.
More recently, Suh drew a roughing-the-passer flag during the Bucs win in Week 6 that included another round of what’s become typical trash-talk between the two. Rodgers contended this week that he doesn’t expect much conversation on Sunday. But that remains to be seen. With the high stakes, Suh, a key cog in Tampa Bay’s No. 1-ranked run defense and still plenty capable of collapsing the pocket from the inside, will be hell-bent on trying to get the NFL’s likely MVP off his game.

1.Balke isn t new to the Jaguars.While Baalke was named the permanent general manager on Tuesday, he s not new to the Jaguars organization. Baalke, 56, was hired as the team s director of player personnel on February 4, 2020. He spent more than nine months in that role, and was promoted to interim general manager on November 29 when the Jaguars dismissed former General Manager David Caldwell. Baalke had spent the previous three seasons – 2017-2019 – as a football operations consultant with the National Football League.
