The University for Development Studies (UDS) has appointed Nurudeen Issah Abubakar as the new Registrar of the University. This appointment takes effect from September 1, this year.
The decision was announced after a meeting held by the Governing Council of the University on Thursday.
Mr Issah Abubakar until his appointment, was the Deputy Registrar in charge of Academic and Students Affairs.
He was appointed Assistant Registrar since 2001 and has held other portfolios including Assitant Registrar and Faculty of Officer/School Officer at the School of Medicine.
He also works at the Office of the Vice-Chancellor, Office of the Pro Vice-Chancellor and the directorate of Academic Planning and Quality Assurance (DAPQA).

ADISCO is one of the most famous institutions of learning in sub-Saharan Africa Adisadel College was ranked 10th out of the top 100 best high schools in Africa by Africa Almanac in 2014, based on the quality of education, student engagement, strength and activities of alumni, school profile, internet, and news visibility.
