Martyred Intellectuals Day observed at JU

SAVAR, Dec 14, 2020 (BSS) – The authorities of Jahangirnagar University (JU) today observed the Martyred Intellectuals Day with due respect and befitting manners.
Marking the day, on behalf of JU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Farzana Islam, JU acting registrar RahimaKaniz placed a wreath at the central shaheedminar of the university around 7.30 am.
Provost of Sheikh Hasina hall Professor Dr. Bashir Ahmed, president of JU Officers’ Association deputy registrar Abu Hasan, general secretary of JU Officers’ Association Abdur Rahman were president, among others.
Later, Jahangirnagar University Teachers’ Association (JUTA) and others organizations of the university placed floral wreath at Mirpur Martyred Intellectuals Memorial this morning.
