As supplies of the COVID-19 vaccine remain limited in Florida, the plan continues to be for health care workers and those over the age of 65 to get the shots.
Members of law enforcement, who have not met the age requirement, are not eligible.
Delray Beach Police Chief Javaro Sims shares his thoughts. Well I thought it was pretty interesting when law enforcement kind of fell off the list as being one of the essential professions that should receive the vaccine.
Sims says his officers put themselves at risk of catching the coronavirus on a daily basis, as they make contact with people.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff s Office is mourning the loss of another team member to the coronavirus.
According to a Facebook post, Corrections Support Personnel Gregory Pierre died while undergoing surgery, following a COVID diagnosis.
Just short of his 47th birthday, Pierre leaves behind a wife and daughter.
Last year, three PBSO employees died from the virus. 44-year old Deputy Angela Chavers passed away in September.
Deputy Maurice Ford died at 50 last August and 38-year old Sergeant Diaz Ayala lost his life to COVID-19 in April.
Another deputy died on Tuesday, but his cause of death is not known.
Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw says the former president will eventually have a scaled back Secret Service detail and those trips to the golf course won't mean rolling roadblocks for Palm Beach County residents.
