PUTRAJAYA (March 15): Individuals who get an appointment for Covid-19 vaccine injection at private hospitals or clinics involved in the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme will not have to pay any charges, said National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme Coordinating Minister Khairy Jamaluddin. The charges are borne by the government, he told a press conference on developments involving the progamme here today.
Elaborating, Khairy, who is the science, technology and innovation minister, said Covid-19 vaccination centres (PPV) are set based on the address registered by the individual through the MySejahtera application. If the vaccination centre near the address given is a private hospital, then they will go to that private hospital. Everything is based on the location because we want to facilitate this immunisation programme,” he said.

East coast records lowest vaccination registration numbers

KUALA NERUS – The east coast states have recorded the lowest registration percentage for the National COVID-19 Immunisation Programme in the Peninsula, said Deputy Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Datuk Ahmad Amzad Hashim.
He said based on the record as at yesterday, Kelantan recorded the lowest number of registrations with only 11.8 per cent of the state’s population registered for the vaccination exercise using the MySejahtera application.

“Terengganu and Pahang, on the other hand, only recorded 16.3 per cent and 17.1 per cent of the states’ population respectively, registered to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
