The Progressive Governors Forum (PGF) says the Federal Government under President Muhammadu Buhari will resolve Nigeria’s security challenges and restore peace in every part of the country.
The PGF said this in a statement signed by its chairman and Gov. Abubakar Bagudu of Kebbi on Thursday in Abuja, while felicitating with Buhari on his 78th birthday.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the PGF is an umbrella organisation for serving governors elected on APC platform.

The Director-General of the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF), Alhaji Salihu Mohammed Lukman, has asked power brokers in the ruling APC to reach a consensus on how to present credible candidates for the 2023 general elections including presidential candidate.
In a statement yesterday titled, ‘Seductiveness of Conventional Politics and the Challenges Facing APC’, Lukman said time was ripe for the party to begin talks on how to field candidates and win the next general elections.

Tributes have continued to pour in for Sam Nda-Isaiah, publisher of Leadership Newspaper, who died on Friday night at the age of 58.
