DSA Marxists Take Control of Nevada Democratic Party
Commentary
This gives this country’s largest Marxist party (90,000 members) access to key Democratic Party decision-makers, sensitive party documents, and key donor lists. It will also energize the far left in a key “swing state.”
Despite its protests to the contrary, the DSA is a communist organization. The organization is formally aligned with Communist Party USA, Liberation Road, and the Committees of Correspondence for Democracy and Socialism all of which work closely with the Chinese Communist Party against the interests of the United States.

Wise up, CA progressives
I agree with Oakland City Council member Dan Kalb that having two out of the five questions that the Progressive Delegates Network asked Democratic Party delegate candidates focus on Israel was overkill (“California progressives get pushback on Zionism ‘litmus test,” Feb. 9).
Of the myriad issues that the party should be considering, attitudes toward Israel and Palestinians are far less important than indicated by the 40 percent represented in the questionnaire.
More critical, however, is the continued effort to conflate two separate issues, being pro-Israel and pro-Palestinian. It is time to move beyond thinking that to be pro-Palestinian one must, for example, also support the BDS movement and “right of return.” Palestinians must have a state of their own in the West Bank and Gaza, and Israel must accept its responsibility to end the conditions that Palestinians suffer each day.
A group of liberal Zionists based in Solano County is organizing against what its members see as an effort within the progressive wing of the state Democratic Party to ostracize supporters of Israel.
The Progressive Zionists of California announced Jan. 26 that it had launched a petition and letter-writing campaign imploring the state’s Democratic Party leaders to oppose what it called “dangerous litmus tests.”
PZC is a three-year-old activist group whose co-founders are residents of Vallejo and Fairfield.
The group’s latest actions follow a controversial statement and questionnaire sent out in December by the Progressive Delegates Network to delegate hopefuls. The document focused unduly on the Israel/Palestine conflict, PZC activists said.
CA Progressive Zionists Decry âAnti-Israelâ Test in Questionnaire
The Progressive Zionists of California (PZC) have denounced a questionnaire from the Progressive Delegates Network, a “state-wide network of experienced grassroots organizers” promoting progressive candidates and causes, for promoting an anti-Israel litmus test.
The questionnaire features five statements of affirmation that delegates to the state Democratic Party need to adhere to; one statement says that they will oppose âlegislation restricting our Constitutional freedom to advocate for the boycott, divestment, and/or sanction of countries that engage in routine human rights violations.â Another states that delegates will support the âhuman rights of all refugees, including the right to leave and return.â
California progressives issue Zionism ‘litmus test,’ pro-Israel delegates say
Is a California progressive political organization trying to weed out Zionists seeking leadership roles? It depends on whom you ask.
In December, the Progressive Delegates Network, a statewide organization that promotes progressive candidates to the state Democratic Party’s Assembly District Election Meetings (ADEMs), distributed a questionnaire to potential candidates that asks them, among other things, to pledge to disavow any restrictions on the “boycott, divestment, and/or sanction of countries that engage in routine human rights violations.”
The questionnaires are used to determine caucus candidates for ADEM assemblies, where California Democratic Party officials are chosen, the party platform is shaped and other decisions are made.
