Yobe State governor and Chairman, All Progressives Congress Caretaker Extraordinary/Convention Planning Committee, Mai Mala Buni has tasked government at all levels to seize the initiative to develop capacity for healthcare and facilities that would meet global standard.
Governor Buni gave the admonition in his New Year message to his party faithful and Nigerians.
The New Year message, entitled, Rebuilding our Party for a Stronger Democracy was jointly signed by Governor Buni and the Secretary of his Caretaker Committee, Senator Akpan Udoedehe.

The All Progressives Congress Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) has urged Nigerians to adhere to precautionary measures against the spread of the pandemic, Coronavirus, as they celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
Secretary of the Committee, Senator John James Akpanudoedehe, gave the admonition, on Thursday, in a Christmas message issued in Abuja.
While it counselled Nigerians to imbibe “the true essence of Christmas giving, forgiving, love of God and love of our fellow men, the ruling party further cautioned that the mood of Nigeria and the global community against the backdrop of a thriving scourge should not be treated with levity.

The All Progressives Congress Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee has voided the suspension of Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, former deputy national Secretary of the party, Victor Giadom and Senator Andrew Uchendu by a faction of the Rivers State chapter of the party led by Honourable Igo Aguma.
Amaechi and the two other chieftains were suspended barely twenty-four hours after the Isaac Abbot-Ogbobula-led APC in the state loyal to Amaechi suspended the trio of Magnus Abe, Wogu Boms and Igo Aguma.
The APC ECPC led by Yobe State governor, Mai Mala Buni in a statement signed by Dare Oketade, Head of Legal Services disclosed that the Honourable Aguma faction was never accorded recognition by its leadership and the National Executive Committee.
