BROCKVILLE – A Grade 10 student from Seaway District High School in Iroquois has been elected to a leadership role with the Upper Canada District School Board’s student senate.
Eshal Ali was voted vice chairwoman of the senate during a virtual vote on Friday.
Bradford Ward, a Grade 11 student from Brockville Collegiate Institute, was elected chairman.
The student senate meets four times a year and is made up of representatives from each secondary school in the UCDSB.
