Card shower requested to honor retirement of outgoing CEO Susan Page

Andie Dean Pratt Tribune Pratt Regional Medical Center has appointed Darrell Lavender as the next Chief Executive Officer, upon the retirement of longtime CEO Susan Page.  “He was chosen over some excellent competition, and we are very confident that he will be a great leader for our future,” said Bill Keller, Chairman, Pratt Regional Medical Center Board of Trustees. Lavender has more than 30 years of hospital leadership experience. His most recent role was Chief Operating Officer at Munson Healthcare Manistee Hospital, a 45-bed hospital in Manistee, Michigan, a community very similar in size to Pratt. He has led organizations through service line expansions, revenue cycle improvements, and many performance improvement initiatives.

Medical bills paid off for Pratt families at PRMC

Pratt Tribune Britt Oller, and members of 429 other Pratt families and individuals are not likely to forget something special that happened in January 2021 anytime soon. Two anonymous donors paid off more than $95,000 in medical bills at Pratt Regional Medical Center. “I found out about it through the mail,” said Oller, who is a postal worker for the U.S. Postal Service in Pratt. “I kept seeing these letters that I was delivering that had a red line across the top and said ‘take notice, open right away’ or something like that. I remember thinking that I hoped these people would all get their important news,” Oller said. “When I got home later that night I was surprised to see we had a letter like that in our mail too.”
