Islamabad: The Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) has provisionally handed over as many as 1,029 plots of different categories to the allottees of sub-sectors G-14/2 and 3. The FGEHA had given around 354 plots in G-14/2 and 649 plots in G-14/3 of different categories, official sources in the Ministry of Housing and Works told this agency.
They said over 60 allottees had taken final possession letters and 17 allottees had applied for issuance of no objection certificate for the approval of building plans.
The sources said more than 10 allottees had started construction of houses in sub-sectors G-14/2 and G-14/3. The Housing Scheme Phase-IV of the FGEHA was launched in 2004 in sub-sectors G-14/1, 2 and 3 Islamabad. About 4,820 kanals of land was acquired through land acquisition collection under the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 in March, 2004, they added. .

LAHORE:The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has issued allotment letters for plots in LDA City Jinnah Sector after balloting. According to an LDA spokesperson here on Friday, the Authority had started receiving development charges from March 2020 in quarterly installments. The deadline for submission of the first three installments passed in March 2021, and the last date for payment of fourth installment was due in June 30, 2021. The file holders who failed to deposit the development charges on time would be charged a penalty of 17.5 per cent. He said the file holders should deposit the uplift charges in four installments and get their allotment letters.

Islamabad: Capital Development Authority (CDA) will hold a three days auction of 29 commercial plots on March 29 at Jinnah Convention Center.
The commercial plots of sector D-12, G-6, G-10, G-11, G-8, Blue Area, I-8, F-8, F-11, I-12 and other developed sectors will be presented for auction. Plots of five star hotels, apartment hospitals, and petrol pumps are also included which would be presented for auction.
CDA official said that to provide the best opportunities of investment CDA
has presented the plots in developed sectors for auction. The authority has devised a special team to facilitate and guide the investors in this regard.

PARIS: The world’s hottest cyclist Tadej Pogacar is targeting his second tour win of the season when the all-star cast at the Tirreno-Adriatico stage race sets off on Wednesday.
Speaking to reporters in a video conference on Tuesday, Pogacar also said his main aims for the season were the defence of his Tour de France title, the Tokyo Olympics and the Vuelta a Espana.
The slightly-built 22-year-old won the UAE Tour in February, in his first race since an astonishing debut Tour de France, where he seized the lead on the penultimate day.
“This year I’m going for the Tour, the Olympics and the Vuelta, maybe next year the Giro,” said the UAE Team leader.
