Remains Found In Plymouth County Ditch Fire December 21, 2020 6:08 am clipart.com Plymouth County, IA (KICD) One person was found dead following a report of a ditch fire on Friday in Plymouth County. The Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office says the communications center received the call around 11:16 P.M. When emergency responders arrived it was determined there was a deceased person inside of a vehicle located inside of the ditch. Investigators say the crash was a one-vehicle incident with the vehicle traveling north on Highway 12. The driver lost control of the vehicle and entered the east ditch, eventually hitting a tree before coming to rest. The vehicle then became engulfed in flames along with the surrounding ditch area.
