Investigation Ongoing After a Man Died Hours After Getting COVID-19 Vaccine

By Victor Omondi On Saturday, January 23, 2021, the Placer County Sheriff’s Office and Public Health announced that they’re investigating a case in which a man died after receiving a COVID-19 vaccine. According to reports, the man had been positive for COVID-19 for weeks since late December. He got the dose of the vaccine on Thursday, January 21, 2021. It’s not yet clear the type of vaccine or where the man received the vaccine. The Placer County Public Health has confirmed that they didn’t administer the vaccine. Agencies announced that the man died a couple of hours after receiving the jab. They’re yet to publicize the root cause of the death because investigations are yet to be concluded.
