Man Jailed 14 Years For Sodomizing 6 Year Old Boy

The Blantyre Magistrate Court has sentenced 30 year old convicted Telison Ligenda for having canal knowledge against the order of nature with a six year old boy. State prosecutor Grace Chilisingu told the court thatÂ Â Lijenda was forcing the victim to smoke before doing the act. Chilisingu also told the courtÂ Â that Lijenda was forcing the six year old boyÂ Â to put his member into his mouth and later told him to drink water. Magistrate Akya Mwanyonga has sentenced the convict to 14 years imprisonment with hard labour. Lijenda hails from Nasingo Village, T/A Kepani, Blantyre. Court finds 2 female guardians with case to answer on nurse assault

The Blantyre Magistrate Court has found a mother and daughter with a case to answer on charges of assaulting a nurse in the line on duty at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital (QECH) in Blantyre. The accused persons shield their faces as they leave the court room Senior resident Magistrate Akya Mwanyongo made the ruling on Wednesday morning. The two women are Esnart Selemani, 53 years old and her daughter Yankho Selemani, 30. They are accused of physically assaulting a nurse, Gertrude Moffat, in her line of duty at the hospital, when she was trying to control human traffic as part of Covid-19 precautionary measures.
