The Justin King Memorial Fund Baseball and Softball Scholarship was established to honor King, his love of the game, and his steadfast support of his teammates and coaches in all the years he played for Pine Forge.
Justin played for Pine Forge from age 5 to 18. He came to every practice and every game with a smile on his face.
ââHi! Iâm Justin King, and Iâll be your catcher tonight for Pine Forge!â Thatâs how heâd greet the home base umpire at the beginning of each game,â recalled Carol King, Justinâs mother. âAnd always his greeting came with a big smile and a handshake.â

Atkinson was fired from the Brooklyn Nets during the 2019-20 season after compiling a 118-190 record. His reputation, however, exceeds his record as he took a rebuilding Nets roster and turned it into a playoff team around the culture he was able to develop. But the team fired him this season before he could coach superstars Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, who sat out most of this season with injuries. That culture could be appealing to the Pacers after dealing with an unstable locker room this season.
