According to Brnovich, the move is evidence of the Biden administration’s disregard for Americans’ safety.
“The DHS records we have obtained convey a shocking disregard for the safety of American communities by the Biden Administration,” Attorney General Mark Brnovich said in a statement. “The Biden Administration and its radical allies are effectively abolishing ICE through administrative acts.”
Data from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) appears to back up Brnovich’s claim.
A table on the DHS website shows a staggering number of apprehensions between October 2020 and April 2021. As Customs and Border Protection (CBP) arrests go up month after month, the number of ICE arrests continues to trend downward.

Montana Attorney General Austin Knudsen outlined the legal case against President Joe Biden s cancellation of the Keystone XL Pipeline permit to a House subcommittee Tuesday.
Knudsen said the president s action revoking the Keystone XL presidential permit is unconstitutional, because only Congress, not the President, has authority to regulate foreign and interstate commerce.
Knudsen is among 22 state attorneys general suing the Biden Administration over the Keystone revocation. He told the House Environment and Climate Change Subcommittee that Biden is acting contrary to congressional action, pointing to 2011 when Congress expressly permitted the pipeline.

CHARLESTON While President Joe Biden is pitching a multi-trillion-dollar infrastructure package to Congress, First District Congressman David McKinley, R-W.Va., reminded people one of Biden’s first acts as president was canceling an infrastructure project with possible repercussions for West Virginia.
“On his first day in office, President Biden revived the Democrats’ war on fossil fuels,” McKinley said. “In doing so, in this war on fuel countless jobs and billions of dollars in economic revenue have been lost. Money that supports our local schools and hospitals. These actions are destroying those communities reliant on fossil fuels for their livelihood.”
