Under the MMDA’s existing truck ban policy, trucks are banned from traversing along major thoroughfares in Metro Manila managed by the MMDA, from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m., and 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. The rule is in effect from Monday to Saturday. “A total truck ban is enforced along EDSA, from Magallanes Interchange in Makati City to North Avenue in Quezon City, 24 hours from Monday to Sunday,” the advisory further read.
