The government has now fixed the rate at Rs 780 instead of Rs 980. The rates of coronavirus tests in the state have been steadily declining from Rs 4,500, which was fixed by the central government. These tests will now be conducted in private laboratories at Rs 780. About 80 per cent of beds in private hospitals have also been reserved. The state government has also fixed rates for plasma bags and HRCT tests.
