Uttam Group launches Ashvath - a moving CNG refuelling unit

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], June 9 (ANI/BusinessWire India): Uttam Group of Companies in association with Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) has today launched 'Ashvath', an integrated CNG refuelling unit for the purpose of easy dispensing of CNG fuel into vehicles.

MUMBAI: In order to partially cover increases in operational, manpower and fixed costs experienced during the pandemic caused by Covid-19, Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) will increase its Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) price by Rs 1.50 per kg and domestic PNG (cooking gas) price by 95 paise per unit in and around Mumbai effective from midnight. Accordingly, revised delivered prices inclusive of all taxes of CNG and domestic PNG in and around Mumbai will be Rs 49.40/kg and Rs 29.85/unit (Slab 1) and Rs 35.45/unit (Slab 2) respectively. After the above revision, MGL’s CNG still offers attractive savings of about 62% and 41% as compared to petrol and diesel respectively at current price levels in Mumbai, a senior official said.

200 petrol pumps in Mumbai to support strike call on January 4 TNN / Updated: Dec 30, 2020, 15:01 IST Mumbai: All petrol, diesel and CNG pumps in Mumbai metropolitan region have extended support to the January 4 strike call by private CNG pump owners to protest against Mahanagar Gas Limited forcing them to sign 15-year lease agreements. Said M Venkatrao of Petrol Dealers Association (PDA), “We had an urgent meeting of all pump owners on Tuesday and have given 100% support to the strike call. The MGL cannot arm-twist these private CNG pump owners and take their land on lease.” The unconditional support by PDA indicates that over 200 pumps will support the call.
