Mumbai: Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope on Friday said that a dry run for coronavirus vaccination will be conducted in Pune, Nagpur, Jalna and Nandurbar districts on January 2. Each district will have three health centres with 25 people for vaccination at each centre, he added.

Rajesh Tope on Tuesday announced in the Assembly that the state government has reduced the rate of
COVID-19 tests for the sixth time. The government has now fixed the rate at Rs 780 instead of Rs 980.
The rates of
coronavirus tests in the state have been steadily declining from Rs 4,500, which was fixed by the central government. These tests will now be conducted in private laboratories at Rs 780.
About 80 per cent of beds in private hospitals have also been reserved. The state government has also fixed rates for plasma bags and HRCT tests.
