Sonu Sood illegally turned residential building into hotel: BMC
Sood, however, denied any irregularities.
The K-West ward of the BMC filed the complaint at Juhu Police Station on Monday, the official said.
BMC’s junior engineer from K-West ward Mandar Wakankar filed the written complaint against Sood and his wife Sonali for alleged unauthorised addition/alteration and unauthorised change of user from residential to residential hotel building without taking sanction from the authorities.
Vishwas Mote, assistant municipal commissioner of K- West ward, said the complaint was filed for alleged violation of the provisions of the Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning (MRTP) Act.

WASHINGTON: Democrats in the US are on the verge of gaining control of the US Senate after narrow, come-from-behind victories in run-off elections in Georgia that was a replay of the presidential elections.
The yet-to-be certified results, which strengthened the hands of the Democratic Party and is a setback to President Donald Trump and his supporters who continue to throw bogus charges of election fraud, came even as a joint session of the US Congress convened in the capital to formally recognise Joe Biden as the 46th President. “We will never give up, we will never concede,” Trump told supporters shortly before Congress met. “You don’t concede when there’s theft involved.”
