Providing interim relief against piracy for the Salman Khan starrer Bollywood film
Radhe, the Delhi High Court has restrained individuals from illegally circulating the film on WhatsApp and other social media platforms.
The order is in response to an instant suit filed by Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd in the Delhi High Court for permanent injunction, rendition of accounts and damages for the infringement of its exclusive license and exploitation rights in the film

The order passed by a single judge bench of Justice Sanjeev Narula of the Delhi High Court has restrained private individuals from “unauthorisedly storing, reproducing, communicating, disseminating, circulating, copying, selling, offering for sale or making available copies of the film or any other portion thereof, through WhatsApp or any other means or modes,
Providing an interim relief after hearing on an instant suit filed by Zee Entertainment Enterprises (ZEE) seeking a permanent injunction, the court said that the plaintiff (ZEE) has established a case in its favour and an irreparable loss would be caused to the plaintiff, in case an ex-parte interim injunction is not granted.

The High Court in Delhi has handed down an interesting order aimed at preventing piracy of the new action movie Radhe . Following an application from Zee Entertainment and parallel criminal referrals, a judge has ordered WhatsApp to suspend allegedly infringing user accounts and take similar action against all other accounts subsequently reported for piracy.
‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’ is a new action film directed by Prabhu Deva. Originally scheduled for a May 2020 release, like many others it was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
With no clear end to the virus in sight, the decision was made to release ‘Radhe’ in India via premium VOD on Zee Plex and digitally through ZEE5 on May 13, 2021. It was immediately pirated.
