Chief Minister added that the lockdown restrictions have already slowed down various developmental works in the State. Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Monday warned over the increasing crowd on Mumbai’s road saying failing to control this would result in stricter restrictions in the city.
Speaking at the inauguration of multiple infrastructure works, Mr Thackeray said, “I was really concerned when I saw crowd on the streets of Mumbai today. We have not yet lifted lockdown restrictions in Mumbai and Maharashtra as corona scare is not over yet.”
Soon after the symbolic green flags were waved by Thackeray, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Mayor Kishori Pednekar, and other ministers of Shiv Sena-Nationalist Congress Party-Congress alliance, the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) commenced the trial runs.Over

Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray who flagged off trial runs for the cityâs two new metro rail lines on the Charkop-Dahisar-Aarey route of Metro 2A and 7 today was shocked to see heavy vehicular traffic in Mumbai today. The CM while addressing at the event said that if this kind of traffic continues, stricter curbs will have to be imposed. His statement comes a day after his address to the state when he discussed about various issues concerning COVID-19 with the people of the state.
