The power company has waived off formalities that would sometimes take up to months and is now giving permissions for urgent connections within hours. The state authorities are trying to expedite the production of oxygen to meet its e v e r - i n c r e a s i n g demand as the second wave of COVID-19 spread its tentacles in the country, and the cases increase. This has upped the demand for new power connections as well as the load. Thus, the MSEDCL’s move can verily be lauded.
