Amid rising coronavirus COVID-19 cases in Maharashtra s Pune, the government has decided to shut all schools, colleges till February 28. The government has also banned the public movement between 11 PM and 6 AM.
It is learnt that Maharashtra government is planning to impose a night curfew in Yavatmal, Amravati and Nagpur districts to curb the spread of the deadly viral disease.

Maharashtra government on Sunday announced a one-week lockdown in the state s Amravati district from Monday, 22 February owing to the rising coronavirus cases.
The lockdown, which is slated to begin from tomorrow night, will go on till March 1, 2021.
The government said only essential services will be allowed to function during the strict seven-day lockdown. One-week complete lockdown to remain in force in Amravati district excluding Achalpur city, beginning 8 pm tomorrow, said Cabinet Minister Yashomati Thakur.

In view of the rising Covid-19 cases in Maharashtra, a weekend lockdown has been imposed in the Amravati district, starting 8 pm on Saturday till Monday 7 am.
The purpose of the restriction is to check crowding at market places during this weekend. Markets and other establishments will remain closed on the weekend.
