New Delhi:Â The Bombay high court has asked for all the inquiry documents relating to the custodial suicide of a prisoner at Nashik Central Prison, after the family said they had not been informed about whether the mandated independent probe into 31-year-old Asghar Ali Mansoori’s death had even begun.

The two sifted through his notes and recordings after his death â something Sachar did not live long enough to do himself. This order passed in an appeal against the State Bank of India (SBI) has effectively shut the door to seek any details about donors and donees relating to electoral bonds under the Right to Information (RTI) Act. With no other recourse available, the Supreme Court is the only surviving arbiter on adjudicating the vires of electoral bonds.
