WILLMAR Winter decided to show its face Wednesday in Minnesota and several neighboring states. The day after the official start to the winter season, snow finally made its way to the region.
A blizzard warning is in effect in west central Minnesota through the evening and early morning of Thursday, with winds gusting as high as 60 miles per hour and snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches, according to the National Weather Service.
