Temple Police Warn of Thieves Targeting Catalytic Converters
The Temple Police Department is warning of thieves who are targeting catalytic converters.
Temple PD s Public Relations Specialist Alejandra Arreguin reports that since the start of 2021, the department has investigated 26 cases of catalytic converter theft. The thing is, some of those cases involve multiple vehicles having been targeted at a single locations. The majority of the recent converters stolen are from commercial vehicles or larger pickup trucks, but suspects have targeted passenger vehicles as well, Arreguin said. Most affected locations are businesses along or near Interstate 35 and Loop 363. Apartment complexes have also been targeted.

KILLEEN, TX â Bell County Crime Stoppers is asking for the public s help in solving a Killeen teen s murder.
On Monday, February 11, 2020, around 9:28 p.m., officers with the Killeen Police Department were dispatched to the 1000 block of Cedar Drive for a potential medical call.
A caller told dispatch there was a person not moving near the front porch of a home.
When officers arrived, they found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. He was later identified as 19-year-old Teckla Domesca of Killeen.
