Bell County inoculated 858 people on Thursday, bringing its total vaccinations to 6,092 â a day following its single-day record for COVID-19 immunizations on Wednesday, Bell County spokesman James Stafford told the Telegram.
These single-day vaccinations are consistently exceeding the Bell County Public Health Districtâs daily goal, as Bell County Judge David Blackburn, on Jan. 12, said the objective is to immunize 560 people daily.
During a Tuesday Commissioners Court meeting, Blackburn explained exactly how Bell Countyâs two vaccination centers are exceeding expectations.
âSome of you might be scratching your head,â Blackburn said. âWe have found, and others have found around the state, that the Pfizer vials can sometimes yield more doses than what the manufacturer suggests.â
Bell County Judge David Blackburn said Monday evening that the county had not received vaccines for COVID-19, which is expected to delay vaccination efforts for the second straight day.
Bell County Judge David Blackburn told the Commissioners Court Tuesday morning that he expected the county to receive its next shipment of COVID-19 vaccine doses today.
Belton — Bell County Health officials were notified Sunday morning that the second shipment of COVID-19 vaccines might not arrive Monday morning as expected, a news release said.
