A Philippine Airlines official has guaranteed the capability of ground crew and check-in counter staff when it comes to detecting fake travel documents and certificates, especially swab test certificates.

Information and Publication Service (IPS) Director Rolly Francia, in a message to reporters Thursday, said that DoLE-National Capital Region will “handle the situation.”
As to what the agency would do specifically for the displaced PAL workers, Francia said they would “ensure the payment of separation pay, provide employment facilitation services, and offer livelihood assistance to interested employees.”
“PAL needs to notify DoLE and the employees 30 days prior to the effectivity of the termination,” he further said.
News broke out Wednesday morning that the flag-carrier was letting go of 2,300 workers in mid-March. This represents a whopping 30 percent of PAL’s total workforce.

This was according to the advisory which PAL issued this morning, Jan. 23, 2021.
Effective today (January 23, 2021), these passengers shall be given RT-PCR testing upon arrival, with an option to avail of a second swab test on their 5th day of quarantine.
Passengers arriving in the Philippines are required to register on Case Investigation Forms depending on their traveler type and port of entry.
Passengers arriving in Cebu (Mactan Cebu International Airport or MCIA), are required to register online not earlier than five days prior to their flight departure via the Passenger Arrival Registration Form.
Passengers arriving in Clark must download and fill out the required forms.

Philippine Airlines (PAL) today (Jan. 2) announced it can no longer accept foreigners flying in from the United States effective 12:01 AM, January 3 to January 15, 2021, after the government included the US on the list of countries covered by the travel ban to curb co
