SNELLVILLE, Ga. (AP) Three children and an adult died in a fire early Saturday morning at a mobile home in Gwinnett County, officials said.
Firefighters responded to the home in Snellville just after 2 a.m., Gwinnett County Fire and Emergency Services said in a tweet. The residence was located on Smokecreek Parkway.
Two children were pulled from the home, and another child and an adult were later found inside. The family of four have all deceased, the statement said. No identities were released.
The cause of the fire wasn t immediately known.

GAINESVILLE, Ga. The rising numbers of COVID-19 deaths include increasing numbers of law enforcement officers, believed to have been exposed to the virus when they were on duty.
One of the latest was a college campus police officer in Gainesville.
He was a career law enforcement officer, serving more than 35 years in north Georgia Officer Steve Hemphill, 59.

The materials to make roughly $6 million worth of methamphetamine were seized Wednesday, Feb. 3, in a drug bust involving meth-infused paint at a South Hall home, according to authorities.
The Drug Enforcement Administration searched a home Wednesday in the 4000 block of Peachtree Drive in Buford, where they found containers filled with meth oil while others had a mixture of the oil and paint.

Deputies: Father shoots daughter before shooting himself in Hall County

HALL COUNTY, Ga. - Hall County investigators are working to learn what led up to a murder-suicide attempt in Tuesday.
According to the Hall County Sheriff s Office, deputies went to the 3000 block of Old Pleasant Hill Road around 4:30 p.m. and found two people suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
82-year-old Horace Owens shot his 62-year-old daughter before shooting himself, deputies say. Investigators confirmed the shooting happened because of a domestic dispute at the home on Old Pleasant Hill Road.
Hall County Fire Services took Owens and the daughter to a nearby hospital for treatment.
