There is a new fashion strategy in play at Marks and Spencer. For the first time in the retailer’s 136-year history, it is stocking other brands amongst its own clothing collections.
M&S bought Jaeger out of administration in January. Back in October, it began selling floral printed dresses by eco-indie label Nobody’s Child online. A November capsule collection of exclusive designs from Ghost sold out, with another coming soon. Clothes by Joules, Phase Eight, Hobbs and Seasalt are expected to arrive on the website later this year.
