City Manager Greg Doyon confirmed City Attorney Sara Sexe will be retiring in September during the Great Falls City Commission meeting Tuesday night.
“I m not going to get into saying all nice things yet, because there’s plenty of time to do that,” Doyon said. “But I will say that I m very thankful that she has given us as much lead time as possible in particular with all the changes that are happening, and all the needs in that department.”
Sexe mentioned her plans for retirement while she was presenting about the state of operations at the legal department during the work session before the commission meeting. The presentation stressed how the department staff is currently stretched thin and overworked in comparison to legal departments in other Montana cities.
