A drunk barrister has avoided being struck off after he preyed upon two female junior lawyers by repeatedly groping them at an event.
Craig Tipper persistently harassed one young woman by grabbing her breasts and bottom before stroking another colleague s leg, a disciplinary hearing has been told.
Due to their lack of seniority, along with the presence of older barristers, both women felt unable to make a scene, after being touched by Tipper, the tribunal heard.
One victim said she was mortified, by what happened and felt completely overwhelmed .
Tipper, who claimed to have little memory of the evening, continued his behaviour despite the women giving clear signals, that it was inappropriate, a chair of the panel told him.

A barrister who dealt in the chemsex pills that killed his teenage boyfriend went on a drugs binge after he was suspended from the profession, a tribunal has heard.

A male barrister who touched two people sexually without their consent has been suspended for three months by a disciplinary tribunal.
Craig Charles Tipper, who was called to the bar in 2018, was found to have behaved in a way which was likely to diminish the trust and confidence which the public places in him or in the profession.
According to a finding by the Bar Tribunals & Adjudication Service, Tipper touched two individuals sexually without their consent on or around 21 June 2019. The tribunal found that neither person consented to his behaviour and Tipper did not reasonably believe they were consenting.
